Our customer identified a growing market for a no-frills, no-commitment pre-paid dial-up Internet service that is targeted at casual users, travellers etc.
The key drivers were speed to market and a realisation that outsourcing their billing operations would allow them to focus their time and resources on further increasing their customer base and developing new products and services to deliver to market, as well as requiring a technical solution that would enable them to provide multiple methods of subscription (e.g. online, over the phone, or via a voucher system) and integration to their existing infrastructure.
Trysoft Technologies used dataDirector to develop a customised billing solution that would support our customers continued growth.
dataDirector generates batches of pre-paid vouchers which are used by our customer in producing point of sale materials. dataDirector validates the vouchers in the registration process (both on-line and through a dialer console application), and takes an active role in the authentication, authorisation, and accounting process which takes place behind the scenes when a dial-up user connects to the Internet.

It also enables users to securely access information about their account, including their usage, transactions and contact details.
