The system accepts data feeds from all of the major telecommunications suppliers in many different formats. This usage information is combined into a single database repository where calls are matched to the appropriate service and rated according to the pricing methods defined within the customer's contract. Billing and usage information for all supplier products is available in a common format and can be presented on customer billing reports for analysis.
Bills are generated in monthly batch cycles and may be generated concurrently for each customer. The system provides a workflow status control feature to monitor progress through each stage of the bill run. Validation and reconciliation reports are generated at appropriate stages of the bill cycle to ensure that data inconsistencies are identified early in the process.
